About Us
Vision for Engineering Development builds automation systems for structural engineering teams — modeling, checking, and releasing.
Our Approach
Your Problem Comes First
We don't start from a product. We start from your problem.
Our developers are System Development Engineers — engineers who solve engineering problems through software.
The answer might be a plugin. A custom component. An external application. A data bridge. Or a mix of them.
Which one we build is a technical decision we make with you. The person who scopes your system builds it. No handoffs.

We Guide You
Not sure what you need? That's normal.
Technical support is our entry point. We look at your workflow, find where time and accuracy are lost, then guide you through the options and trade-offs.
No problem is unsolvable. The real question is whether the effort is worth the return. We help you answer that before you commit.
Proven Track Record
Nine Years Building Systems Inside Steel Organizations
Deployed across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, India, and Australia.
Modeling automation
Connections modeled to client standards in one click
Checking across every stage
Model breakdown, part-mark accuracy, documentation integrity

Fully detailed fabrication drawings straight from the model
Release pipelines
Assembly checks, DSTV/DXF output, drawing printing, and publication to Trimble Connect
PEB plugins
Mezzanine, cold-formed section, and flange brace connections
Design-to-detail tools
Built-up plates to HI sections, beam plates to contour plates
Interoperability platform
M.Sc. research linking Tekla, SAP2000, and legacy software
Ahmed Etman
Founder & Lead Developer
Nine years in structural steel across the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Led development teams and built modeling, checking, detailing, and release systems used by detailers and fabricators across four countries.
Core Technical Qualifications
M.Sc. Structural Engineering, Cairo University — mediator platform for BIM interoperability
Tekla Open API, C#, .NET — WPF, MVVM, multithreading, SOLID, unit testing
Interoperability — IFC2, IFC4, SDNF, STEP, CIS/2, Trimble Connect
Our Vision
BIM that moves without losing anything.
Every provider solves part of the problem. None solve all of it. Models get rebuilt, data gets lost, engineers re-enter what the model already knew.
We're building toward data moving cleanly between software providers and across every project stage. Public tools where the problem is common. Custom systems where it isn't.
This was Ahmed's Master's research — a mediator platform connecting Tekla, SAP2000, and legacy software with no native API. The company exists to take it into production.
